You can participate in changing the lives of young people by making an in-kind donation (books, supplies, furniture, meeting room, etc.) to our program. CIS of Galveston County seeks individuals with a desire to make a difference in the life of a child by serving as a mentor. Volunteers are essential to the success of Communities In Schools programs. It is critically important for CIS students to know that their community is invested in their growth; for some it is the difference between success and failure. Volunteers can contribute to support our program by mentoring, tutoring, serving on boards/committees, assisting at special events and participating in a variety of other opportunities.
